2019 was a special year for Yoshitoshi. It marked the label's 25th anniversary and saw the release of a slew of incredible originals and remixes that we couldn't have been more proud of. In addition to many EP's, we also released our 25th anniversary compilation series with fantastic new remixes from some of the best names currently working in dance music. These efforts have helped Yoshitoshi to continue establishing close, personal relationships with our artists. In 2019, Olivier Giacomotto and Made By Pete each released two EP's for the label. I can't remember the last time that has happened. Returning artists included Khainz, CJ Jeff, and Sinisa Tamamovic, and Enamour and Christian Bonori made strong label debuts. We continued our Deep End compilation series with Deep End: Ibiza, which topped the summer charts across the board. And of course I was happy to release three singles on the label this year, 'Lobi,' 'Exodus,' and 'The Rain,' each of which received great praise from DJ's and fans alike. All in all, it really was a year for the books. As we look towards the next decade, it's hard to predict how dance music will develop, but I can guarantee you that Yoshitoshi will continue to do the same thing we always have: cut out the noise and release good records from exciting artists that we love. Wishing you all a very happy new year and lots of great times in the decade ahead. Hopefully our music will be there for some of your best moments.
