Founder andco-promoter of Manchester trance night Rong; he has madea firm impression both on and off the dance floor.Sparking a passion for music from an early age andspending much of his teenage years clocking-up thebedroom hours mastering the decks; his diligent attitudecoupled with perfectionist traits have seen his offeringsflourish so far – with a lot more still to come!After forging an instant love affair with the trance scene as aclubber, his musical direction was grasped, moulding anastounding appreciation for the diversity of the music and itscontribution to the world of electronic dance. James’senthusiasm for the genre soon translated beyond his lovefor the decks, igniting a self-initiated vision in the process…Being a regular clubber and therefore a true pragmatistabout the scene, he recognised the lack of opportunity foraspiring DJs, particularly with the decline in smaller trancenights. Not being one to sit back quietly, this sparked thevision to start up a night. T his was dedicated purely to thelove of the music, as well as providing precious opportunityfor DJs like himself to play the music they love.
