Along with Laurent Garnier, Joachim Garraud started out as a DJ at the Boy, the Parisian club that first initiated the discovery of the Techno phenomenon in France. After early productions aired on Maxximum Radio he created his own recording studio in Paris, which allowed him to remix, compose and produce artists such as David Guetta, Jean-Michel Jarre, Paul Johnson, Deep Dish, David Bowie, OMD, Kylie Minogue, Mylène Farmer, Cassius, Ceronne, Moby and Robbie Rivera. In 2000 Joachim created the infamous Gumprod label alongside David Guetta and in 2001 co wrote and co produced David Guetta’s album ‘Just A Little More Love’, selling 200,000 copies in France alone. The first single ‘Love Don’t Let Me Go’ went straight to No. 1 selling 500,000 copies. Working alongside Guetta, Joachim later produced ‘Money’, ‘The World Is Mine’ and ‘Guetta Blaster’ another 200,000 copy seller, alongside remixes for Kylie Minogue, OMD, Cassius & Cerrone. Working with Pioneer in the development of products 2005 also saw the creation of the ‘F*** Me I'm Famous Records’ label with David Guetta. Joachim also released "Summer Moon", in collaboration with Tim Deluxe, Bob Sinclar and David Guetta and remixed Moby, Robbie Riviera, Culture Club, Cerrone and Eurythmics. Later nominated for a Grammy and producing I-Tunes France’s No. 1 podcast ‘Zemixx’. Joachim later hosted the ‘Technoparade’ in Paris, having his own float, which allowed him to invite Oliver Huntemann, Laidback Luke, Benny Benassi and David Guetta. The forum Joachimgarraud.com later became the most visited in the Electronic Music category, with 300.000 unique visitors per month. Recently Joachim won the Night Trophy, as Best French DJ, was No. 27 in the DJ Mag Top 100, was chosen as Best Electro DJ of the year at the Burn FG DJ Awards, Best French Producer and DJ in Only For DJ's and released his first solo album ‘Invasion’, which see Joachim develop a new concept, blending DJing and musical improvisation, thus giving a true concert, a unique live performance which soon gave him the opportunity to perform all over the World.? With such a full musical career and being such an influential name within Electronic music, Joachim became an obvious choice to mix the next ‘Toolroom Knights’ compilation. Following in the footsteps of Mark knight’s Toolroom Knights 2.0, Joachim’s DJ mix boasts exclusive tracks written specifically for the album, namely ‘Miami Is BS’ and ‘No Techno In This Room Please’. The mix also includes Joachim’s exclusive remix of Paganini Traxx’ ‘Zoe’, released here for the first time. The mix also includes Joachim’s new remix of BBE’s ‘Seven Days And One Week’, alongside new material from Dirty Vegas, Sander van Doorn, Sebastian Gnewkow, Steve Aoki, Taurus & Vaggeli & Olav Basoski. http://web.me.com/joachimgarraud/Joachim_Garraud_Live/Live_Show_Full_Set_up.html www.joachimgarraud.com www.myspace.com/joachimgarraud
