“MIX.” A word Daniel Crespo has been familiar with sincebirth. Born to a Filipino father and Puerto Rican mother,Crespo was raised on the North Side of Chicago with theperfect blend of the Bee Gees, Donna Summer, OtisRedding, salsa and merengue. Upon moving to Miami in thelate 90s, Crespo’s love for music grew as he was exposedto all new sounds, including Miami Bass, Reggae andSouthern Hip Hop. Each summer, Crespo would return toChicago, not only his birthplace, but the birthplace of housemusic, igniting his love for electronic music.At the age of 23, Crespo has spun alongside some of thebiggest names in the industry, including Diplo, Steve Aoki,Tiesto, Avicii and?uestlove, with multiple performances as an opening act forWiz Khalifa.
