Ash Smith, known as Prox, is a longstanding British Producer/DJ who currently resides in Charlotte, NC, USA where he continues to hone his incredibly talented production skills. Coming from a small town in Greater Manchester named Wigan, Prox spent his early childhood listening to his older brother’s Trance/UK Dance CD’s. Throughout High School he could usually be found in the music room fiddling around in Cubase, and when at home, practicing on his set of Technics 1210s. Shortly after playing his first Hard Dance club at 16, he met Daniel Kandi whilst playing Online Pool. The two got chatting about Trance music which then inspired Prox to embark on his journey learning how to produce Trance.
