The Award-winning DJ & Music Producer has over the years made a notable mark for himself on the dance footprint in South Africa as well as in Europe & across the world having dropped tracks & remixes on various prominent electronic labels including MoBlack, Kingstreet Sounds/Nite Grooves, XL, Because Music, Exploited Records Germany, soWhat, Ocha, Makin Moves, Offering and many more. In 2016 he released his Spinnin’ Records-powered mix album titled “Essential Selections” which featured notable prominent names in the electronic music industry such as Sam Feldt, Moguai, Ferreck Dawn, Felix Jaen, Ummet Ozcan, R3hab, EDX, Bolier, Redondo, Zonderling Borgeous & Zaeden; to name just a few. The Spinnin’ compilation album then went on to win him an accolade in the form of a Metro FM Music Award for Best Dance Compilation back home in South Africa; after which he took a short break to focus on other projects; and then returned in 2018 with a new EP titled “Chants Of The Panther” on Ocha Records featuring the top charting single “Mama We” which was also subsequently proled on the Defected Records Radio Show hosted by Sam Divine and now features on the Defected Radio Episode 134 Play list. His releases from 2019 included “Umkhehlo” featuring South African songstress Lizwi and the single included a MoBlack remix and was released on MoBlack Records and peaked on the Top 20 on the Beatport Afro House charts. He also released “Imithwalo” which featured Lizwi on the Kingstreet Sounds/Nite Grooves label, and also charted on the Top 100 on Beatport, after which he released the hypnotic “Trip To Ibiza” on prominent Germany-based independent dance label Exploited Records. 2020 is already looking promising with more forthcoming releases from Qness via Exploited Ghetto as well as Jonas Rathmsman's Elements label. Qness is denitely becoming a dominant force to reckon with among his peers...
