First up from the pair is Fusion, a steely slice of techno with plenty of atmospheres and heavy hitting drums that just carry you endlessly onwards. The bassline is buried deep and the explosions of cymbals add plenty of tension and drama to the very much floor focussed cut.
In the hands of Shine resident DJs Miniminds who have pocked up support for their production work in the past from DJs like Len Faki and Ewan Pearson the track is a much more intense and scurrying affair dense with rumbling machines and thick with a black soot sound design that takes you deep into the bowels of a club with ease.
Markus Bohm then provides Lost Land, building on well rooted techno drums he lays in plenty of industrial piston sounds and ominous, indecipherable and heavily filtered vocals which all add up to a monstrous and monolithic track.
Finally, Frankyeffe turns in solo effort Warrior that surges along on crisp claps and rolling kicks. Colour and detail comes from a gnarly bassline and more human voices that seem to get swept up in the groove and never fully break free.
