Techno powerhouse !Organism welcomes Italian artists Bodyscrub and Grey Otis for a new EP that is topped off with a remix from Paul Mac.
Both these artists have a long and fruitful relationship with techno and between them they have released on all the key labels. Otis has found favour with the likes of Marco Carola and Richie Hawtin for his big room tackle, and Bodyscrub's mix of restless basslines and cerebral atmospheres have seen him play alongside big-wigs like Carl Cox and Dubfire.
Starting things off with a bang is 'The Jack,' a white knuckle techno thumper with fizzing synths and immovable kick drums. Skipping claps bring a little funk to the otherwise seriously heavyweight groove and you cannot help but get swept up by it all.
Remixing this one is Paul Mac, the UK veteran who has been a foremost star in the techno game for twenty years. His version is even more intense, with extra synth layers urgently hurrying you along as chords rise up and down the scale with real mind melting menace.
Last of all is 'Elemental', another punchy number that is industrial, quick and high impact. Drones survey the landscape as the drums barrel on, all the while white noise blasts and paranoid sirens colour the airwaves with panic.
Once again then this is a classic techno EP from all involved.
