Neo Lectro is the best known music project of the versatile artist, networker and label owner Martin Hollwitz. Since the mid-1990s he has been totally addicted to electronic music from artists such as Aphex Twin, Daft Punk or Jean-Michel Jarre. His style was inspired early on by the game sounds of his Commodore Amiga 600. Offsets of this 8-bit sound can be found in many of his tracks. As a teenager, he built self-made synthesizers and sound generators and collected an armada of technical music equipment. Newspapers reported him when he was only 14 years old.
