Phuture is a Chicago based group founded in 1985 by DJ Pierre, Spanky and Herb J. The group's 1987 release "Acid tracks" lay claim to being the first-ever Acid house record. Using Roland's TB-303 the group started a new genre of music that has been emulated by countless artists around the world. After the unexpected passing of Spanky, DJ Pierre carries on the legacy with dj and producer Lessnoise. The new PHUTURE continues to play sold out shows bring their live electronic act to stages from Tokyo to London and festivals such as Awakenings. With a heavy tour schedule including Detroit's Movement and a full-length album releasing on Get Physical on the horizon, the PHUTURE is here.
