Alex Vanni lives in Italy. He approached the music world as a singer and songwriter. He was deeply inspired by the electronic music of the 80's and the Chicago House/Detroit Techno of the 90's. In 2005 Alex edited under the pseudonym "Mono", together with his friend DJ Tony Barbato, the first album "Flowers", which obtained the support of famous DJ including John Digweed, Alex Neri, and Steve Lawler who inserted it in his "Lights Out Compilation". This unexpected success stimulated Alex to continue working with maximum engagement, using vintage analog synths and old vinyl records. He tried to merge multiple musical styles in order to find a new, fresh and energetic sound. His successive albums are a proof of this and reconfirmhis qualities. He began to collaborate with international labels and deejays, continuing to edit mix and remix tracks among which we remember those for Adamski, Pastaboys and Roger Sanchez. He is always in search of purity of sound and a groove that makes you jump out of the chair. His goal is to provoke emotions, trying not to make something predictable and signing his projects with his real name.
