The Russian artists Abstract Vision and Sincere Sound are up next on Arrival with their new single "Cloudy", which is also supported by the B-side "That Morning". The original mix of "Cloudy" quickly establishes a main arpeggio riff that is layered up and varied nicely as the song progresses. An incredibly groovy bassline enters the mix and is accompanied by unique synth stabs and sweeping pad lines underneath. In the break a light and frisky theme melody emerges that also makes an appearance later in the song as a finishing melodic end point.
Marsbeing from Ukraine, who we saw on the latest Arrival sampler, makes a remix contribution of "Cloudy" on this release. A deep and thrilling bassline quickly emerges and a firm beat with soothing percussion elements is established slowly. The break sees an enjoyable rhodes-like synth which is supported by the theme melody from the original.
Finally, "That Morning" starts off with an arpeggio line as well, but with a heavier beat and moodier synth lines. Refreshing stabs emerge and go very well with the pad lines that are introduced in the mix. The break introduces a group of exciting chord changes as well as a light theme melody -- these elements continue after the break, which leaves the track with a stunning atmosphere.
