Edelstahl - techno with attitude Passionate Carlos Weber aka Edelstahl started to mix house, trance and progressive records in 1996. Five years later, 2001, Carlos – who bought his first sequencer in 1998 - discovered techno and began to produce first tracks himself. In order to improve his productions skills, he stopped djing. In the same year, Carlos debuted as a live act (first time as Edelstahl) and founded his own label Stahlplatten. After 12 years of successful existence now, Stahlplatten is a synonym for high quality productions with attitude and passion, which, of course, attracted highly respected artists/labels in techno: Soul Access, Amigos Recordings, Subcult, Plastic Toys, Momentum League, Tretmuehle, Gastspiel Records, Doppelgaenger, SMW, etc. are only a few of the scene's best addresses Carlos has worked with to
