Catwash Records proudly welcomes house music's enfant terrible Boris WipWap Werner that will strike dancefloors with his Two in a row EP. Lush grooves, thick basslines and subtle melodies will make this release a stir in this international scene we call house music. Gulivert, known for his overwhelmingly acclaimed Change, steps up for the remix duty and delivers a boucing tune.
The thick bassline and the weird filtered voice in which I didnt hear this before moves hand out a deep and techy house track, setting the right party vibe, a track that is without any doubt dedicated to nights of quality clubbing. Guliverts remix is even more about party time, with a rolling bassline that brings the floor energy forward, ready to knock anybody who keeps standing on the wall... Finally, Two in a row is more about late hypnotic grooves, with his soaring synth which, combined to its sick beat construction, delivers a subtle deep and shifting journey.
The Amsterdam based badboy Boris Werner who speaks his mind and lets this reflect in his music making is a charismatic pillar of house music, and keeps on pushing dancefloors to fall under his spell with his enthusiasm and dedication to party. Playing most venues throughout Holland and abroad, DC-10 Circo Loco resident, Mr. Werner is also now proud host of his own nightclub, in association with William Kouam Djoko : Late Night Society, where they invite acts and DJs that got their attention making for defty nights of quality clubbing. So keep a close eye and your ear to the streets, there is no end in sight.
Behind the decks for more than ten years now, Gulivert just loves to make the girls dance. Seen as one of the promising underground DJ/producers coming out of Paris, hes spreading the good word of music wherever he's in demand. His last release on Catwash Records has been widely supported by the underground scene and with plenty of studio work in progress, he's for sure one of the next generation must.
Established by DJ W!LD in 2005, Catwash Records has since welcomed on board a host of global talent including Le Chien Perdu, Lula Circus, Gauthier DM or Gulivert and knows since the very beginning how to pick up good and fency tracks, carrying on to champion the fresh sounds of the underground. Avoiding any restricting genre, the Hors-Serie side of the label gives fresh and new sounds still in the same colours but with an extra shiny feeling that reminds you that Catwash soul is not so far.
