After the strongest summer of releases on Circus Recordings, club hits like Nasser Baker 'say something', Camelphat 'The Solution' Yousef & Bontan 'Nasty' and the soon to be 4th ibiza anthem in a row for the label, Junior Sanchez 'Stronger' label owner Yousef makes sure that the label is not only about big hits and big names.
Newcomer Luis Martinez sent his demo's to Yousef on Facebook on the off chance they might be listened to. After some discussion the label owner advised Luis his music needed a proper mix down, and then a mastering, not only to get the sound right but to see how committed a new face was to getting his music out there. Luis without hesitation followed instruction and advice and made his good tracks into great tracks.
Very much club based material, but still so meticulously produced Circus Recordings felt the EP served a full release, with full PR, full promo, the same as all the established names that release with Yousef. This EP may appear understated but it kicks with the right level of emotion all the way through. Welcome Luis Martinez.
Italian based (Bologna), Colombian born in Medellin DJ/producer soon comes out from the scene of electronic music from a very early age, thanks to its South American roots and the study of drums for 10 years and that of the guitar at the Conservatory of Bologna. Luis is an artist whose presence and maturity in the studio seems to develop with every release to which he puts his name. He performed in Countries like: Italy, Spain, Greece, Germany, UK, Croatia, France, Germany, Switzerland, Holland, Colombia, Ecuador, Perù, Chile, Mexìco. His production pedigree was quickly identified by some of the scenes most respected tastemakers, with early outings on Deeperfect, Material Series, Wow! Recordings and Oblack Label which has helped him to get his name all around the Worldwide Tech-House Music scene. By the end of 2017, Luis was ranked as one of the highest charted artists/producer on Beatstats, perfectly setting the scene for a landmark year in 2018, Luis looks to further cement his deserved place among electronic tech house musics elite.
