More top-drawer deepness from Audiomatique. This time the label welcomes back the Danish / Croatian wunderkind Denis Horvat, whose Dali EP made some major waves in the summer of 2013.
The Zweil EP contains much of the same energy - the lead track is an expert piece of tech-edged house - acidic squiggles and bleeps ride a driving, off-kilter groove, creating a heady, disorientating floor burner.
'Playground Kids' is a deeper affair - spacey synth stabs and fragments of riffs punctuate a sparsely populated rhythm, building into a hypnotic, loopy groove.
'blckscale' is a deep wobbly synth line and firing drum track combine to create a raw and funky cut perfect for very late night use.
