Following Born Freaks incredible solo success with Mau5trap, the Freak Trix Records supremo is back again with a stunning compilation titled You Never Know to introduce his label to the world. You Never Know showcases the myriad of talent at his disposal in a sumptuous collection of dance music, encompassing all things electro, progressive and house.

The album offers nine beautifully mastered tracks from eight budding artists, ranging from those who have already established themselves with Mau5trap, Dirty Dutch Music and Nervous Records, all the way through to those making their debuts!

Freak Trix prides itself on unearthing those with a natural capacity in forward-thinking productions, and this latest offering is a perfect illustration of that ethos, with many of the tracks coming from demos that were too good to pass up.

Born Freaks own luscious contribution, Coronita, captures everything that the man is known for, formulating feel-good percussions with groove-ridden beats to create an uplifting techno foot stomper.

Evenwave sets the tone for the album, opening up with his hard-hitting riffs in the form of Spring Head. The Hungarian-born producer who has previously featured on BBC Radio One, tears straight into the powerful bass-driven track, coupled with euphoric build ups and weighty drops.

The epically named Heat Maxwell represents the continuation of Born Freaks own affiliation with Mau5trap, having both appeared on the We Are Friends compilation earlier this year. His track, BoomBox, brings a high-octane electro vibe with ferocious synths that resonate through the soul.

The man from San Francisco, Subtap, brings a wealth of production experience having been involved with house for nearly ten years. Distant Dreamer offers a deep and progressive roller that builds to an awe-inspiring, hypnotic climax.

Eric Alamangos 3 Points infuses retro synths with punchy deep bass lines, boasting a tune that will terrorise sound systems and crowds alike. Its impossible to get through the track without pulling a bass face to be proud of and brings a darker tone to proceedings.

Of the newcomers, Mologon, treats us to a double delight as the only producer with two tracks on the album and no one will be complaining as they each offer something completely different. Cest Fou exudes Summer vibes as an up-tempo electro hitter, whilst he also wraps up the album with the deep and moody tones of All I Want - a perfect juxtapose to exhibit his huge skill set and diversity.

Beatgrinder and Zima also have their debut track releases on the album and certainly live up to the hype that has been coming out of Freak Trix. Beatgrinders Deisel offers a superb balance of melodic harmony to the album, whilst still keeping in line with the electro spine that runs through every track. Zimas groovy funk rhythms have an almost latino edge to them, and Night Owl is a head bobber and hip swinger that guarantees to get a dancefloor shaking.

With such variation that covers all angles of a sound pioneered by Mau5trap, Freak Trix has compiled an evolutionary album which snakes its way through a labyrinth of progressive, electro and deep house beats, firmly announcing the artists and the label to the dance music community.
