Up first, Stretch Phonic is a squelchy and supple techno groove with tight kick drums setting the pace under train track percussion and sweeps of white noise. Icy hi-hats, squirming industrial spirits and plenty of shadows all make for involving and dramatic listening.
Surfaces is then a little more straight ahead in its groove. It races forward with an ever growing sense of raved-up tension and eventually explodes into big breaking techno waves, raw claps and droning siren sounds.
Remixers Gabriel D'Or & Bordoy were born in different countries but in the same year, and have since come together to remix the likes of John Aquaviva and Manuel De La Mare and their own originals have topped plenty of charts on Beatport. Their version of the track ducks and dives, bobs and weaves throughout, always remaining busy and physical, taking you with it every step of the way.
No messing main room techno never sounded so essential than when it comes from the faultless !Organism label.
