As first, we would like to present an excellent remix of Chris Special's "Mind Games" - a track included in one of the former releases on Loco Records "Hi-Tek EP". Chris, who is known to have produced the Ibiza anthem "Terrace attack" keeps making splendid vibes by blending house and tech sounds. This time, Chris's recording has undergone a deep change owing to a remix by an Albanian DJ and producer Sabb whose releases appeared on some of the most respected electronic labels such as Audiomatique Recordings, Defected, Toolroom Records, Cr2, Noir Music, BluFin, MBF, Connaisseur, Stealth Rec, Monique Musique, or Nervous just to name a few. Besides Chris Special, Sabb has also made remixes for the likes of Chris Lake, Carlo Lio, Wehbba, Gary Beck, Supernova, and Hector Couto.
The second track "Tonight" has been delivered by Dale Howard - a deep house producer and DJ from England who has had a lot of success since he started making music. Dale has reached number 1 and number 2 in Beatport's Deep House chart with his tracks "Gotta Be Deep" (Neurotraxx Deluxe) and "Dropout" (Starlight). Dale also reached number 3 with his track "4 Hour Bang" (Starlight), which spent over 8 weeks in the Top 10. Since then Dale has gone from strength to strength, playing in some of the world's greatest clubbing capitals like Ibiza, London and Stuttgart to name a few. Dale has also set up his own house and deep house label "Static Audio" which has had a lot of chart success as well as great reviews from such online magazines as Resident Advisor. Dale has spent the last few months fine tuning his unique deep sound and now has forthcoming releases on one of the biggest and most distinctive deep house labels around - "Fear Of Flying", as well as our Loco Records and Florian Meindl's "Flash" imprint.
"Keep It Real" - the third track on the sampler belongs to Edmund - a DJ and producer originally from San Sebastian who defines himself as a lover of the real house music sound, focusing especially on deep, funky, and soulful styles. From his beginnings, he has been able to delight the most demanding ears by producing outstanding tunes that made him recognizable not only nationally, but also internationally. Having his tracks released on I Recordings, Daddy Funk Recordings, Raisani, Clubstar, Seamless , Grab Recording, Onethirty and obviously Loco Records, Edmund is definitely the one we should keep an eye on.
The last recording "Guava" comes from a Hungarian artist Dubaa, and a Spaniard Qmusse. The duo joined forces to make a splendid deep track that certainly shows the artists' skills in producing good quality electronic music. We hope to receive more recordings from Dubaa & Qmusse anytime soon.
