Primal

Primal, a.k.a. Markus Alan, is a DJ and producer hailing from the early 2000's hard techno scene. Having played in various grunge/punk rock bands, Markus eventually found himself experimenting with electronic music. He started out by DJ-ing at underground raves in 1999, which led to his discovery of techno and, eventually, inspiration to begin producing his own music. In 2003, he began releasing vinyl EP’s and quickly gained recognition for his complex and unique sound. His style has been characterized as dark, aggressive and driving techno that is ideal for peak hour dance floors. Markus’ tracks have been released on a number of labels, including ARMS, Blueline Music, Hardsignal, Mastoid Kollektive, Ground Effect, Armatura Clandestine and Mafia Records.
