Bringing people together through music. It’s a simple concept yet incredibly powerful when executed correctly and that’s exactly what PeaceTreaty has accomplished with their quality productions and live performances. PeaceTreaty is the musical partnership of Los Angeles-natives Josh Anaya and Angelo Patino who started their career playing local underground warehouse parties a few years ago. The duo was quickly recognized for their expert studio work and signed by Steve Aoki to Dim Mak in 2011 when they released their first EP with the label. Outside of their original compositions, PeaceTreaty are prodigious remixers and have been commissioned to rework tracks by dance music titans including Diplo, A-Trak, Steve Aoki, Dada Life, and Moby, to name a few. Between creating hits in the studio for imprints like Dim Mak, Mad Decent, and Fool’s Gold, and commanding the decks at festivals such as Tomorrowland, Electric Daisy Carnival, Nocturnal, Electric Zoo, and Beyond Wonderland, PeaceTreaty continues to prove themselves as melodic electronic music mavens. Loaded with their newest release “Don’t Wanna Wait” on their new imprint PANGEA Records, PeaceTreaty has made it clear they have big plans for the very near future.
