Begining in 1989 the journey of Franco̧ is-Pierre R.-Legendre aka Jim Star into the electronic music world started by producing music building beats and melodies with the family computer and analog synths. In the early 90's Franco̧ is started to produce events being the first to put the "rave" scene in action in his home town of Chicoutimi, Quebec, Canada. Jim Star developed an open-minded approach to electronic music and played almost all styles. His dj career allowed him to share stage with international class “A” artists. His sound is into the realms of tech-house, techno and progressive these days with some break beat chunks here and there. He is also busy working with Monique Musique as owner of this world acclaimed label. He also hosted verry respected shows on Protonradio.com and MUDradio.fm. His labels are getting support from top players like : 2000 and One, Adam Bayer, Alexi Delano, Anthony Pappa, Ben Sims, Butch, Carl Cox, Carlo Lio, Christian Smith, Claude Von Stroke, Danilo Vigorito, Dave Clarke, Dave Seaman, Derrick May, Dubfire, Eric Morillo, Gregor Tresher, Hermanez, John Digweed, Laurent Garnier, Loco Dice, Luciano, Marco Carola, Mark Knight, Marko Nastic, Michel Cleis, Michel De Hey, Nic Fanciulli, Paco Osuna, Pete Tong, Peter Bailey, Richie Hawtin, Slam, Stacey Pullen, Steve Lawler, Tim Green, Timo Maas, Umek, Victor Calderone, Wally Lopez, Yousef and many others!
