A.K.A DJ-LEO {ARG} > I started early in the 90′s inArgentina as a radio DJ, host & producer. In 1992, I became the resident DJ at Latino club and had a 7 year run. During this time I continued working as a host, producer, promoter and as a guest DJ at electronic music related events and festivals. In 1995 with one of my best friends, Fabio “Little” Stern (musician, singer, piano professor and sound engineer), we took things one step further targeting the dance floor with original electronic music. With a mix of taste, dedication and an amazing multi-space club we were able to attract large crowds, so large that the club expanded its space – in 1996 – with a new room called “El Limbo.” This new space featured a pure underground concept where I was playing sets from midnight to about eight in the morning. That same year, this club received recognition for being one of the Best Argentinean Clubs. After a while in the biz and growing in popularity, other opportunities came to me to share my music, including fashion events and trade shows for underground designers, electronic music oriented events, parties and other clubs, including “El Divino” dance club in Mar Del Plata, Argentina. EL DIVINO DJ – one of the spaces located inside Complejo Sobremonte – was, and still is, one the top and “must GO!” places in South America. So I was lucky enough to have shared and spun my music from the same booth where internationally known DJs have performed: Sasha, Hernan Cattaneo, Deep Dish, David Morales, Satoshi Tomiie, George Morel, Keith Litman, JazzM, Paul Jackson, Westbam and many more. I had also shared the DJ booth with other famous South American DJs such as Roberto Ceratti, Magoo (urban groove), Teclas, DJ TOMY (Bs As),Alto Camet’s DJs, Javier del Sol, Chuek-OH, Ariel Testa and many more. A week after djing at El Divino, I moved to Miami, Florida where I performed in South Beach at “The Womb” as a resident DJ, as well as many private parties. While at “The Womb,” I signed one of my tracks – with Favio Stern – to be included on a CD compilation with several DJs and producers based in Miami, playing for people all around the world. Miami was an incredible experience. In April 2004, – with DJ Phillip Baum – we produced a couple of remixes for the first release “The Moon” on Tidalwav Records of Canada and several other tracks that got even support from Hernan Cattaneo through his “Resident from London” radio show. Established in Salt Lake City I was a resident and guest DJ at the W LOUNGE, Cassadys, private parties, Ciseros in Park City (Sundance Festival) & Devils Daughter. T hanks to Social Media, I was able to reach a broader audience, as guest DJ at Ibiza Essentials, my own weekly show at Soul radio, Berlin Essentials and radios in South America. As a producer I just had two remixes signed for Pranastar and Stencil records and soon I will have my own ep on Stencil as well; including remixes by M. Lorenz and the talented & boss label Michael Otten. In addition to that, another original track of mine will be included on a compilation called ” WE ARE ST ENCIL” out late in MAY 2013.So stay tuned for some fresh stuff, free downloads, DJ-Sets and more ....
