Returning to Yoshitoshi for the second of two monstrous EPs (but not their second for the label) is the Venetian duo Veerus & Maxie Devine. Riding high after Rab Bit/Banzai, which dropped last December, the new EP brings the best elements of melodic tech house for the summer months. The most noticeable part of Walking On My Own is its ear worm vocal hook, which instantly infects the ears of listeners. The track's driving groove makes for a floor filler that has been known to actually make audiences burst out in sing-along by the end. On the B-side we have Pick Up The First Apple, a spacey track filled to the brim with staccato blips and cavernous micro-melodies. Get your crowd going with Walking On My own, then keep them going with Pick Up The first Apple.
