Born as Mikael Nordgren in Sweden, Tiger Stripes has made appearances before on Get Physical, most recently his 'Beatbox EP'. Now he's returned to give us 'This Man EP', with remixes from Adana Twins and M.A.N.D.Y. vs. LOPAZZ, the release is bound to make a splash in the scene. 'This Man' opens simple enough, bright shakers and a flat kick leading to a pumping bassline. Expect a classic synth, reminiscent of the 80's to make an appearance. This 'Man' comes in two flavours, 'Day' and 'Night' versions, both reflecting the respective vibes. Light and groovy, deep and heavy. M.A.N.D.Y. and LOPAZZ hollow the bassline out and add space in their Edit; adding strings and upping the overall vibe of the track to add another thick layer of heat on the dancefloor. The Adana Twins take 'This Man' and add rhythmic vocal cuts, edited to perfection and pitched to groove. They keep that heavy bassline and craft an infectious percussive track over the top. Never underestimate the Adana Twins; this track will be heard anywhere a good time is to be had.
