After a year of great success, Edu Imbernon – possibly one of the biggest breakthrough artists of 2009 – launches the first release from his own imprint, Eklektisch. This first release includes an original track from longtime friend Uner and features three remixes by Julien Chaptal, AFFKT and Edu himself alongside Coyu, both creators of the worldwide smash “El Baile Alemán”. This first release is a true reflection of what this true 'born & raised' Valencian wants to showcase, sound artifacts arranged to rock the dance floor whilst always with a sense of being and with quality each and every time. Four tracks, each one with a very personal imprint, starting on the A side with Uner's original track and the remix from Coyu and Edu. The first one is pure hyper funk with a huge unrelenting bass line, some introduction to the label !. The vocal plays around in a very smooth way with the house and techy sounds creating a sensual and also addictive atmosphere. Following the original, young talents Coyu and Edu put their “dancefloor-rocking” imprint into the first remix. A fun and tribal version that happens to be the most dance floor minded of the three you will find on this vinyl. The B side features Julien Chaptal and AFFKT remixes, both artists have been a buzz in the scene for the past months and here they come along with 2 ear-catching cuts whilst managing to also keep the funky flavour of the original version. Chaptal shows both a sexy and captivating melody whilst AFFKT goes down the funky flavour route adding his characteristic and enjoyable bass for the audience. A great and very solid release for this young label that promises to give us many great evenings (and nights) of glory for the moment.
