Kicking off proceedings, Gabriel Evoke's 'Are You Rolling' leaves no secrets in its naming. An archetypal exhibition of rolling tech-house, driven by a mesmeric vox and crammed to the brim with rhythm from start to finish.
'Okay Mate' dives a little deeper as Valentino Orsini focuses on the smoother side of house. A late-night groover with a stripped-back feel, laced with hints of Chicago and elegant pleasantries of the melodic kind.
Santez takes things back to the terrace with 'South Divide'. Vocal rollers seem to be doing the damage of late, and this track is certainly no exception to that trend - think Music On with a dusting of soul.
Label boss Lee Pearce flicks the switch back to deeper tones. 'Sanook Sax' is yet another flawlessly distinctive attachment to his sound signature. Bright melodies and lounge-like energy set the perfect platform for a delightful saxophone to steal the show.
'What You Saying' slaps some pumping tech house into the fray, thanks to Mescal Kids. On-trend, quirky tech-house with a rude edge and lots of attitude is the crux here. Punchy beats and phat synths get in your face from the get-go.
Luke Hassan is next up with 'Mine Is Yours'; an interesting blend of tribal and UK tech-house tied together with some standout vocal and sampling work. Long driving bass notes and plenty of atmospheric energy make this an extremely individual piece of work.
'Feel The Wah' fuses feel-good funk and disco-house energy with hard-hitting beats and huge builds. Another characteristic record to diversify the package and some watertight production work from KHONG.
Closing the show, Jake Whitehouse's 'Haus' merges an interesting combination of different styles. Pulsating low-frequencies and bouncy beats meet rolling tech and scattered rhythm, as well as long winding pads and bright strings for an interesting product; a true statement track.
