Leizah

Leizah was born into music. It was her father, a singer and musician, who introduced her to blues and gospel and took her to her first concerts when she was just 13 years old. The black musical atmosphere at home was complemented by international voices who visited her father for musical reasons: Tammy Mc Cann, James Monque’d, Kelly Longmire, Bruce Thompson, and others. This is how Leizah cultivated the art of singing with a preference for black genres and studied jazz at the Conservatory, graduating in 2010. Her soprano voice is warmed by her rhythmic approach, rich in dynamics and melismas. In addition to her concert activities, she has worked as a vocal coach for many years.
