Entitled "Back to the Sauce", this second solo project echoes "SA.MOD", the first EP of the London-born MC. We can detect the idea of continuity, a logical continuation but also the idea of a "return to the roots". The latter is first of all illustrated by an orientation towards Drum & Bass and Grime, musical styles dear to the artist who was immersed in this universe when he was young in London. The tracks "Hype For The Night" and "Switched Up" fully reflect the imprint that Youthstar wanted to put on this project. In another vein, "Pushing Through Walls" evokes with a certain sincerity the anxiety problems the artist has faced since he was 15 years old. There are also much more comical and self-centered songs such as "This one is Fat" and "Week-end Sins" in which Youthstar presents his colourful character to us in no uncertain terms.
The various themes covered in The EP "Back to the Sauce" depict the authenticity and legendary energy of the Chinese Man Records artist. Produced by his friend and secret weapon Senbei, it contains a more than tempting list of collaborative artists including Illaman (UK), Dope DOD (NL), CW Jones (UK) and Jakeavelli (UK).
