After teasing us with 'The Late Invitation Theme' on the brilliant 'Music From Mathematics' CD, Liechtenstein's own Late Invitation join the party with three tracks of retro-vintage disco, house and boogie. With no more info than what's provided on their myspace, we can tell you that they're a three piece, comprising Lost Brother, Crouch Dash and Millipede and they look pretty f**king wacky. 'The Invite' is a warm piece of jacking disco-house pie driven by fat and fuzzy kicks with smudged synth keys, while the 'The Late Invitation Theme' is a much slower affair laden with druggy Chicago disco vibes. Over on the flip the much longer 'Thus' is allowed to stretch out with what what sounds like a vintage boogie edit, but appears to be a completely original production. Top tip for fans of Mark E, Adonis and Floating Points!
