Originally from Montreal, Matt has lived and traveled all over the globe. He has now settled down in London where you can find him playing regularly at clubs such as Ministry of Sound, CAMP, Rhythm Factory, Cafe 1001, Pacha, Egg, Whitehouse and many a London warehouse...Unlike many DJs, Matt doesn't pigeonhole himself into any one particular genre. Instead he creates a distinctly unique sound blending together the best bits of deep house, progressive house and techno that will keep any dance floor moving until the early hours of the morning. Inspired by artists such as Maceo Plex, Mark Henning, Max Cooper, Tale of Us, and James Teej, you can expect Matt's sets to be deep, groovy, dark and sexy.Known for his long seamless mixes, Matt is just as comfortable opening, closing, or completely smashing the dance floor during peak hours. He uses his ability to read his audience and selective programming to draw the crowd in the direction he wants... on the dance floor!Matt has played with and alongside some of the world’s very best DJs, including: Mark Henning, Max Cooper, Ahmet Sisman, Oliver Huntemann, My Favorite Robot, Slam, Sebo K, Mario & Vidis, Derrick May, Dario Zenker, Avatism, Hector, Simon Baker, Hernan Cattaneo, Umek, Nick Warren, Judge Jules, Robert Babicz, Spektre, Cosmic Gate, Marco V, Wally Lopez, Jerome Isma Ae, Richard Durand, Cosmic Gate, Chus & Ceballos, Henry Saiz, Sister Bliss, Ben Coda, Sonny Wharton and 16 Bit Lolitas.Matt runs a club night and label called Motek which is now in full swing in the London underground scene.
