Kindred Sounds is proud to present the second long-player from Shamatha, the down-tempo headphone-focused alias of Australian producer Kriece (20:20 Vision, Kindred Sounds, Renaissance, EQ). Over 2013, Shamatha is perhaps best known for the epic Ulrich Schnauss remix of Eye of the Beholder, which has been Ulrich's most popular track on Beatport for much of 2013.
This follow-up from last year's organic and warm Centipede Frightened by a Magic Mirror is a more futuristic, spacey affair, with lashings of slow-mo house, nu-disco, Balearic progressive and broken beats set amongst huge cosmic soundscapes.
Xenoglossy features nine original tracks along with the massive Charlie May (long time Sasha and U.N.K.L.E collaborator and member of Spooky) remix of Megalodon. Charlie kindly took time out of remixing Lana Del Rey to turn in his epic reinterpretation of Shamatha's original.
