Next up and with summer well and truly on the horizon we pick up the pace a little and deliver you a relentless EP packed full of Raw House sounds and Old Skool beats courtesy of Leeds' artist Kezla.
Kezla, is the moniker of Leeds DJ and Producer Kieran McDermott, resident at one of the city's coolest Sunday daytime parties BeatStreet. His style of hard-hitting House is what brought him to our attention early on and he featured on our New Love Volume.1 compilation. We then asked him back to do an EP and he hasn't disappointed.
Leading the EP is 'The Motion' a Bass-Driven Jackin' affair that pays homage to the early days of House. On remix duties we've drafted in rising talent Oli Furness. With a consistent release schedule over the coming months on various labels including Scottie Deep's 'Say Ahh! Recordinds the future's looking good for the Manchester lad. His love for vintage analogue synth's really show's in his productions. Live 808 drums are well and truly on the menu here as he delivers this no-nonsense workout!
Next on the EP Kezla teams up with good friend and fellow Beatstreet resident Will Crawshaw to turn out 'The Soul'. Another Raw House cut, this time featuring a lush R&B vocal cut that hypnotizes you throughout the track. This has already gained some good support and we're confident it will work well on many a dance-floor. Will's had amazing success recently with his latest EP on House favorite Nurvous entering both Beatport's Nu-Disco & Deep House top 20 and with releases due out on NTFO's label Sintope Digital and Audiojack's Gruuv we're tipping him to do big things.
Rounding off the EP nicely is bonus track 'Dungeon Swing', another club banger that's set to do some damage over the coming months. With summer round the corner it's time to take things up a gear.
