  • Matty Menck has been part of the international electronic music scene since the 1980's. As a producer and DJ he was one of the guys that were responsible for establishing House Music in Germany. While he was a young graduated audio engineer, he spent a lot of sleepless nights in various studios and in the legendary Kontor Club where he played as a resident DJ. Matty Menck earned several gold and platinum records and awards for some of his early projects in the 90's. Years later, as he developed his musical career, and a lot of international DJs inspired him to increase his musical wisdom, Matty turns forth from his commercial influenced big room style back to his musical roots. He felt back in love with deeper House and tougher Electro music. Matty Menck's own productions authentically capture his personal musical history and represent both musically and technically.
Alongside from his solo projects (e.g. on Toolroom & Ministry Of Sound) Menck worked with various artists like Thomas Gold, Jerry Ropero, DBN, Lissat and very close with the diva of house music Terri B.. For nearly five years, Menck is the main resident DJ at Germany's most rated and international well-known house-club HALO in Hamburg and therefore responsible for the DJ-bookings (e.g. Afrojack, Allesso ,AN21, Avicii, Chuckie, Dirty South, Erick Prydz, Funkagenda, Hardwell, John Dahlback, Laidback Luke, Martin Solveig, Nicky Romero, R3hab, Steve Angello, TV Rock, Tommy Trash, Thomas Gold and many more). Hamburg's most popular Afterhour (SM Bar) was also hosted by M.Menck. During his freetime he has a significant share in the radio station BASH.FM. Everybody Be Somebody (with Thomas Gold), was the most hyped track of 2009's ADE (Amsterdam Dance Event) and became one of the most successful dance tracks in 2009/10 worldwide. All new tracks found their premier during Menck 's gigs at the WMC (Winter Music Conference) in Miami.
Most of Menck's last big tunes, for example a collaboration with DBN on JOIA & WE PLAY and his big strike "ARE YOU READY FOR LOVE" on TOOLROOM Records UK raised to the top of international club- and DJ-charts immediately. The remix of SKY feat. Terri B (Housession Rec.) founds support by Erick Morillo, Thomas Gold, Plastik Funk, Tune Brothers, Jonathan Ulysses and many others. "Come Into My House" with Terri B! got massive support by Roger Sanchez as a very special "Hot Tip" and is a part of his Release Yourself Compilation 2012.
Now it's time for him to drop his new record on the hyped young label PYRO RECORDS. "RAIN" has been co-written by the boys of Point Blank, who did already great work for artists like Azzido Da Bass and Eric Decks. The song comes along with the lovely voice of Singer/Songwriter Marion Campbell.
