Jonny Whites No.19 Music imprint looks to new artist Cameo Culture for a stunning debut single ofsoul, emotive music backed with a remix from the ever-excellent Ryan Cavanagh AKA Slow Hands Dave Robertson AKA Cameo Culture is actually no stranger to No.19 Music, having featured on the Soul Clap compilation album underhis Soho 808 moniker last year and since then has joined the No.19 crew on the road at key label events inNew York & Bogota, Colombia. In the studio Robertson is as comfortable at a piano or microphone as he isprogramming a drum machine, and its this rich vein of talent that shines through in his recordings. The single kicks off with Night Swimming, an infectiously melodic and uplifting, yet deep slice of vocal slo-mo his Soho 808 moniker last year and since then has joined the No.19 crew on the road at key label events inNew York & Bogota, Colombia. Second of the two original recordings is title track Parts of You And I which sees Robertson journey furtherinto melodic vocal territory with another standout recording. The vocal duties are performed solo this time and backed with pianos, rolling bass and swathes of swirling FX to create an emotive and simply beautiful piece ofmusic that will work as well at home as it will on the dancefloor. The package is completed with a remix ofParts of You And I by Ryan Cavanagh AKA Slow Hands, who takes time out from his recording forPermanent Vacation, Wolf & Lamb to deliver a stunning version that is perfect sunrise musical moment,sublime! Cameo Cultures debut single is another musical gem from the No.19 Music stable and undoubtedly thebeginning of a long relationship.
