This two track EP from Derek Howell is nothing short of amazing to say the least. We have explored different avenues of interest with this artist by releasing 'Found and Lost', which is a downtempo number and 'Come Again', which is a 4/4 progressive stormer. In 'Found and Lost', it has a very triphop IDM style broken beat, and the nylon guitar riff is so clean and transparent in its articulation. There are layers and layers of effects, samples, and cuts which altogether put together quite a package on this number. 'Come Again' takes a darker turn, into the 4/4 realm. This is very suitable for peaking out at the right moment and it sounds massive on the big system. We have had DJ support on Derek Howell from John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo, Matthew Dekay, etc. Simply put, here is a gem of an EP that will delight fans over the spectrum of electronica, and Derek Howell never ceases to amaze us with his quality work.
