The myth of the hyper-productive artist is real. Pascal Schumacher knows no standstill. The luxemburgish musician founded in March his own label Modulating Music and released together with the French guitarist Maxime Delpierre (Collectif slang, DJ Joakim, VKNG) the album Drops & Points. In the following months he played concerts in the sold-out Luxembourg Philharmonic Hall, toured the project UberBach (ECHO Klassik award 2017) with Sebastian Knauer and Pantha du Prince and recorded a new album in Australia. And as if that were not enough variety, he was appointed professor for jazz and classical percussion at the Luxembourg conservatory of music.

Schumacher will now release the EP Drops & Points - Reworks featuring remixes from Stimming, Paul Frick (Brandt Brauer Frick), Hiroshi Watanabe aka Kaito (Transmat / Kompakt) and Ryvage. Additionally new tracks by Pascal Schumacher can be heard on the EP, the rhythmic Gogopoints and the groovy Marimbadots.

Drops & Points - Reworks follows the original album in the typical minimalist way. While Stimming and Paul Frick whose passion for rhythm is obvious, the tracks of Kaito and Ryvage are full of melancholy and modular synth-rock.

"The album Drops & Points has been designed in a very minimalist way. On the 'Reworks' EP I wanted to get new, additional components through collaborations with other producers. Stimming and Paul Frick work as organically as I do and have a similar preference for rhythm. Hiroshi Watanabe aka Kaito is one of the most poetic electro producers I know and Ryvage is a young, talented Luxembourgish producer who has a very touching way of creating synth soundscapes."
