This time we turn to Italian producer &lez, who makes his long-awaited debut on Tenampa with Yellow Safari.
&lez is better known for his previous releases on labels such as: Radiant, Connaisseur, Galaktika, RKJVK and his most recent release on the excellent German label: Upon You Records.
Title track kicks things off with a tension-building arpeggio that filters into sonic range. A cleverly constructed percussive system gives rhythm to the track, while keeping things simple, yet not minimal.
Levan is up next, again &lez displaying his signature style of building tension with loud melodic arpeggios, detailed rhythmic patterns and a big low-end. An extremely hot work-out edging into more peak-time territory.
