The Nu-Disco and Deep House genres run close, sometimes so close it's difficult to tell the two apart. Quite often this fusion of Deep House beats & basslines versus Nu-Disco synths & strings is referred to as 'Deep Disco'. So without getting too sub-genre on you, we proudly bring you 'Dragon Suplex'... arguably the hottest 'Deep Disco' producers around! So let's kick off with the title track 'First Kiss' - a dreamy slice of tropical bliss, with a carefully selected gated vocal and a bassline drop that'll kick any sound system into touch. This little beauty chugs along at a steady 116bpm and with an irresistible FM synthesis charm. 'I Should Have Told You' on the other hand picks up the pace and grooves along at 118bpm and has the familiar synth stabs, arpeggios and boogie basslines that all you Mullet Records fans have come to know 'n love. This one retro-rocks! Next up is 'One Question' - and again the Dragon Suplex boys hit you with yet more Deep Disco class, with a clever pitched down vocal and nice melancholic synth touches over an astonishingly addictive synth-bass groove. And lastly we have 'Keep On' - probably the deeper of all four tracks and again follows suit on the pitched-down filtered vocal theme. This little hottie goes all the way to a pacey 120bpm and rounds the EP off perfectly. Something tells us that the 'Dragon Suplex - First Kiss EP' is the start of a glorious 'Deep Disco' Career! We hope you ENJOY! :o) Mullet HQ....
