Approaching its 4th year of existence, Noizion Recordz publishes the first various artists compilation. It brings together 14 titles meticulously selected by Hubwar, founder of the label. Sicaa -Parisian beatmaker- opens the doors with a hiphop song. He invites on this first title tinged with mysticism the emblematic New Yorker MC Jamalski, living icon of rap & raggamuffin. The second song marks the return of Nekochan. After several years of silence, she gives us a progressive title whose apogee reveals a sensual voice emphasized by a purr of bass. Then comes the turn of Piktogram, author of a piece where telescoping vintage synthesizers and futuristic sound design. Nasty J, Leto, Altazer, Illektre and Gunston plunge us into the depths of the dubstep, revealing personal visions of a current in which they continue to experiment. With "Everything May Fall" my.head offers a vaporous mid-album breathing, on the edge of ambient and Lo-Fi. On frenzied rhythms, Dubmentalist, Skwig & Hubwar juggle between footwork, jungle and electronica while Urman, at a similar tempo, chooses the halfbeat card.
Between shadows and lights, "Doorz" finally looks more like a collaborative album than a simple juxtaposition of singles.
"I wanted this compilation of songs as different gateways into the label's universe or as an object of discovery of old and new talents. I believe that the bet is successful, there are all the scenes that fascinate me right now". Hubwar (label owner)
