German duo FromDropTillDawn drop the huge Déjà vu EP on Stashed Music, a bass-heavy two-tracker with a title track you won’t forget anytime soon.
FromDropTillDawn was founded in a desolate place some refer to as The Black Forest. Dedicated to a low-frequency driving bass style, FromDropTillDawn has to developed their sound with extended studio sessions, not resting until their tracks are nothing short of spectacular.
The final speak for themselves, with releases on labels like This Ain’t Bristol, Confession, Cuff and Ultra Music. FromDropTillDawn’s music has the ability to stir up the darkest basement or most sumptuous of club floors, and their debut for Stashed Music might be their biggest to date.
Déjà Vu is quite simple stunning: a near-perfect house record with a gritty, ever-evolving bassline, complex percussion and an instantly infectious vocal that takes the break to a whole new level. An instant classic; this is the kind of record that will be sticking around in A-list sets and at radio for some time to come.
One the flip, Warning! Is a dark, heady club roller with a hypnotic looped vocal and surging synth drops and clattering drums: a more than worthy b-side to the behemoth that is Déjà Vu.
