London based DJ / Producer DeMarzo touches down on Hector Couto's Roush label in late February, armed with three tough, club ready productions. Following a year which welcomed releases on labels including VIVa LIMITED, ElRow Music and Kittball, Marcus Wormald aka DeMarzo has gone on to establish himself as one of the most exciting emerging producers within the world of Tech House. Having made his production debut just over 4 years ago, the UK talent has seen his stock rise dramatically in recent months, with sets at Elrow's Opening party at Space Ibiza alongside appearances at Sonar's OFF Week making up just a few of his 2016 highlights. To kick off the New Year, Wormald now turns his attention to Hector Couto's Roush imprint and delivers three fresh productions oozing with energy from the first minute. Lead cut 'Aliens Exist' kicks things off in fine style and lays the foundations for the rest of the EP with a mixture of punchy kicks, shuffling percussion laid on top of rumbling low ends, whilst 'Hang Man' reveals a menacing and wicked 303 line that emerges from intricate and delicate percussion. Concluding the EP, 'Loft' returns to the tougher aesthetic established earlier, with a medley of glitches and whirrs combining with rave-influenced stabs to uncover a production aimed firmly at the dancefloor, concluding yet another impressive EP from DeMarzo and picking up right where he left off in 2016. DeMarzo 'Aliens Exist' is out on Roush on 27th February 2017.
