Xango – Curator of drums and dance.
Xango has been steadily improving his reputation on the dance music scene. His love for all things tribal is encompassed in his sets, along with dark rumbling basslines, and catchy grooves that keep you moving, often taking you from minimal, through to techno.
As a youngster, Xango’s love for music was evident, and was heavily inuenced by the contents of his Mum and Dad’s extensive record collection. Motown, Northern Soul, Rock, and Electronic being the main sources.
Moving from the bedroom to regular DJ, at the now defunct Castro’s, Xango brought a style of tribal tech house, much akin to Steve Lawlers Dark Drum series. A sound which can still be heard in his sets today. Other DJ inuences are Danny Tenaglia, Tom Stephan, Danny Howells and Satoshi Tomiie.
Having spent 14 years learning his craft as a DJ, Xango turned to production, with original releases on reputable labels, such as: Krafted Records
Locker Room Records.
