Strange Cookies

Strange Cookies is the collaborative project of Amit Freeman and DJ Barakuda (Andreas Barakos), two key figures in the progressive psytrance scene of the U.S. West Coast. Their sound blends hypnotic grooves, precise rhythmic design, and deep psychedelic textures, shaped by over a decade of creative partnership. Rooted in the underground movement of Los Angeles, the duo has released music on respected international labels such as BMSS Records, Phantasm Records, Divinity Records, Pharmacy Music, PsynOpticz, Spiral Trax, Plan B Recordings, and Psytribe Records, solidifying their presence on the global stage. They are currently working on their debut full-length album, a conceptual journey marking 10 years of shared evolution and sound exploration.
