The unstoppable Dear Deer Records rolls out another fresh slice of essential house music, this time with Malandra Jr behind two originals and James Gill and Alex Kaspersky remixing.
This Italian artist is a lover of classical music culture, poetry and is formally trained on the piano. He played in various orchestras and ensembles and brings that real emotion, class and musicality to his grooves.
First up here is Millennium, seven spine tingling minutes of deep house with sombre chords and loose percussion all making a fantastically mature and sophisticated atmosphere. Shamans is a percolating, darkened deep house track that has haunting chords dangling above the rubbery bass synth. Elegant lead lines then ring out during the breakdown and the whole thing oozes celestial charm.
James Gill remixes Millennium into an even more smooth and serene melodic tech number that casts a spell on you and has drifting vocals and swaying drums all bringing real class. Last of all, Alex Kaspersky layers in stepping bass lines, loosens up the groove and is sure to get the club on its toes and moving to the next level with his uplifting moods.
