Originally released under his Oiryal production name, March13 and his "Flight of Ideas" hit the catalogues of Melancholy Deep in July 2016. Now Yin : Yang revisits the track courtesy of a pair of new remixes from Eastern European stars.

Andrew Benson needs little introduction to the trance and progressive house faithful. An artist whose work has seen him feature on some of the finest imprints in the underground and mainstream dance scene, Benson has become a regular on Colorize, Black Hole and Particles. Indeed, the latter has accounted for a wealth of original and remix material including the outstanding "Impossible is Nothing" with Ad Brown.

Similarly, fellow Russian, Katrin Souza has found herself at the forefront of the progressive house and trance scene with over 250 production credits to her name, for such celebrated labels as Incepto, Silk Music and Encanta. A range of well-supported original and remix material has thus seen Matan Caspi, Ad Brown and Tom Fall use Souza's music in their sets.

Collaborating for the first time, the Andrew Benson and Katrin Souza remix of "Flight of Ideas" is a typically invigorating affair, redolent in Benson's trademark rich bass line and Souza's melodic flair. A driving beat presides over rippling, filtered arpeggio line as a cavernous bass line resonates across the lower frequencies, before a stripped back breakdown makes use of the March 13's vocal sample and a delicious freeform motif emerges. Building effortlessly, the third movement is a wonderful confluence of rhythm and melody with Benson and Souza's talent in full view.
