Adam Beyers latest Mad Eye offering has been a long time coming. Released just over two years since the previous EP, followers of the label will immediately recognize the understated, groove-filled tech house tones for which Mad Eye is know. Flap leads things off with a burrowing groove underpinning hypnotic, jittery effects and intricate layering while b-side Dot brings low throbbing bass, weaving metallic sounds and punchy beats. Finally, Twist fuses swinging percussive vigor with deep shunting bass and haunting drawn-out horns to complete a classic sounding Mad Eye record.
