Probably the most prolific techno duo in recent years, Spektre has joined the ranks and brings to light their single 'Cobalt', supported with a remix by none other than the German techno veteran Eric Sneo, and label bosses Sal Sonder & Ted Dettman.
Formed by Rich Wakley and Paul Maddox (brilliant in their own solo careers as well), Spektre is pioneering the modern techno sound, with unparalleled production value fusing the early rave sound of Britain with current underground techno rhythms. Having the support of all A-list artists such as Adam Beyer, Umek, James Zabiela, Carl Cox, Coyu etc., running their label Respekt Recordings as well as their DJ careers, they are the definition of constant.
Eric Sneo - to have him on the label with a production, just months after his 'Sound Traveler' LP/Album on Tronic is sublime. His career started in the 90s and continues to evolve nowadays. Internationally known for his hardware fueled live DJ performances, and stellar original productions, as well as his collaborative nature. Highly regarded by the likes of Laurent Garnier, Len Faki, Dubfire, Luciano, Gabriel Ananda, Cari Lekebusch etc., working together with Christian Smith, running his label Mudra Audio, and many more highlights reveal the genius he is and we are delighted to have him on the label.
And lastly label natives Sal Sonder & Ted Dettman team up again for a second remix of 'Cobalt' trying out a new direction and sound, worked up tempo, and melodic derivative.
