In an era filled with constant noise and repetition, Read the News stand for individuality and curiosity. Their name reflects a subtle message, inviting listeners to stay open, explore beyond what they know, and discover new perspectives through sound. Formed in 2020, Zurich-based duo Lukas Mayer and Ryder Ulmer began their journey as producers and performers, quickly gaining recognition within Switzerland’s electronic music scene. What started as a creative collaboration soon evolved into a distinctive project defined by emotion, depth, and exploration across the spectrum of melodic house and techno. From then on, their music began receiving recognition across the globe and soon after they founded their own imprint, Read the News Records. Since then, they have released on Siamese, Habitat, and Belonging, alongside running their label. Through collaborations and
