Gene Richards Jr

Gene Richards Jr. is a producer born in Ukraine and raised in Toronto. He came to international attention in early 2020 with his debut release “WITHOUT YOU” on UNCAGE, the label curated by Marco Faraone. That breakthrough marked the beginning of a highly productive year, with subsequent releases on WRKTRX (Truncate’s label) and a remix for Marco Faraone on REKIDS, the Berlin-based imprint run by Radio Slave. He has also collaborated with Mark Broom and released music on Hardgroove, the influential label founded by Ben Sims, as well as Be As One, the imprint of Shlomi Aber. Richards Jr.’s music has earned support from some of techno’s most respected figures, including Chris Liebing, Truncate, Radio Slave, Ben Sims, The Advent, Honey Dijon, and DVS1.
